These headshots were lit by a big strobe placed in a softbox to soften the light from above the head and light reflected from the bottom from a carefully placed reflector to light up the faces to reduce unwanted shadows.
The resulted images are very effective and appealing. A casual pose and outfit will also increase the effectiveness of your head shot. There are so many backdrop colors to choose from, and in this example the white and the light blue color paper background were used.
